I get a lot of emails (Not really *sob sob*) about what to do when you reach your goal weight: Exercise more? Lose more weight? Shave your cat? Subscribe to this blog? After decades of expensive research costing millions of yen, I finally came to the correct conclusion: when you meet your goal weight, regain the fat ASAP.
So simple, so effective.
Think about it. People who maintain their weight forever have to watch their food intake, exercise and/or be active in their day-to-day lives, and accept that they’ll never be like naturally slim or skinny people. Former fat people watch the scale and measuring tape every day, week or month, and panic if they regain 0.2lbs.
Who wants to live like that? Not me!
Yes, there are some okay things about weight maintenance: bikinis, fashionable clothes, a hot body. No more thunder thighs rubbing together, saggy arms flapping, fat rolls trapping sweat, being mocked by society, calorie deficits, dreams of being at your goal weight. Suddenly you’re called the ‘light’ one, attract romantic attention, etc…BUT who really wants all that? Me!!!!!!
All of the above isn’t worth counting calories, exercising, and drinking 8 glasses of water a day, right?
Of course not! This is why you should regain the fat ASAP once you meet your goal weight. Even better, regain BEFORE you reach your goal weight. This saves time spent exercising and weighing food when you could be lazing about and eating food instead. Find every lost pound! Stuff your face! Break that scale when you step on it! A former fat person has lots of fat cells waiting to get big again, so stop being such a tease and make them fat hence the reason they’re fat cells. Come on. You know you want to.
